You may attend WCDH for the entire week, on a daily basis (w/lodging), or as a commuter (no lodging or meals). For the first time, the Lakeview Resort is making a half-dozen vacation condos available to us. They have 2 BR and a full kitchen. One room has a king bed and the other room has two twin beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. So, five to six people can get together and be able to cook their own meals (especially if they have dietary needs). They are $150 a night - split five-ways would be $38 a night. Even if you don't want to cook, you still can opt for the meal plan (breakfast/dinner).

WCDH does not have programs/activities for children. However, children who enjoy dancing with adults have always been welcome. But...non-dancing children should have proper adult supervision.

Beware: We (Warren & Terry) cannot guarantee to find you a roommate(s) if you request one. Dancers have the responsibility for finding roommates for double/triples/quads/condos.

CDH runs from 12/26 late afternoon through the morning of the 31st. You may add on the extra day for the NYE dance, in the registration form.

Why leave when you can stay?! Join the CDH community as it celebrates the old and the new with a special evening of dance and festivities including a "Raise the possum" countdown. Contra, swing, sing and waltz out 2022 and sing/waltz/contra into 2023.

The first three CDH-NYE went quite well with some special ‘moments’ just before midnight with singing, a solemn candle dance, and a plaintive fiddle tune by Ed Howe.

The event includes dancing, discussions, and workshops during the day on December 31st culminating with a New Year's Dance and celebration bringing in the new year. Jennifer’s delicious evening snacks were well-received. Also included is dinner on 12/31 a continental breakfast on 1/1 and one night of lodging. And all taxes and gratuities are included. Check-out time on 1/1 is at noon.
